Seahorses can eat 3,000 tiny shrimp in one day. They also eat copepods and fish eggs. They have no stomach. They suck it through their snouts.
Seahorses are smaller than a staple when they are born.
Each eye can move in a different direction. They don't swim very fast. They stay in the same spot most of the time. They stay near the coast.
There are more than 20 kinds of Seahorses including leafy sea dragon, weedy sea dragon, and pot belly seahorse.
Seahorses can be bright yellow, orange, brown, black, striped, and polka dotted.
